Welcome

I welcome you to this new site and hope everyone who comes across the site will contribute. There is always some news floating through the Latino/a community. If we can capture just a small amount of that news, we will be better for it.

H. S. Power & Light Ministries - Latino Faith Initiative is a Para-Church leading the struggle against injustice and unrighteousness by sharing the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are taught to care for the stranger in our land and to love our neighbor. When it seems like we are weak and alone, we must not forget Jesus will provide the answer to our concerns and strength to push forward.

The primary mission of H. S. Power & Light Ministries is challenging Latino evangelical faith leaders to address and speak prophetic justice and righteousness to the many pressing issues facing our community.

The Latino evangelical church must become a stronger influence and advocate for the common good in our society by focusing our efforts beyond the four walls of the church.

Proverbs 31:8 reminds us that we must never lose sight of our spiritual commitment. "Speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves, and for the rights of all who are destitute".

H. S. Power & Light Ministries - Latino Faith Initiative continues to be one of the first Latino evangelical ministries to fight against racial profiling and for the urgent call for comprehensive immigration reform for families.

As spiritual advocates for the poor and guardians of the marginalized in our society, we pledge to fight against fear, bigotry, hate, racism, lack of civil rights and seek justice and righteousness as mighty warriors of the King.
